The landlord, Pastor Idowu Fagbeyide, suffered the fate for allegedly locking Sunday’s apartment while he still remains a tenant of the house.

The recuperating Pastor Idowu was alleged to have locked out Sunday from his apartment after failed attempts to eject him and other tenants in the house at 59, Alafia Street, Ejigbo, Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.

The occupants of the house dragged him to court to restrain him from ejecting them illegally. Since then, he was unable to collect rent from them.

Since the matter was at the court the tenants refused to pay their rent. The landlord became helpless because he could not collect rent from the tenants.

Fagbeyide told P.M.NEWS that the tenants are now living in his house free of charge and they are not in a hurry to pack out while Sunday said that since the matter was in court, the landlord should allow the court to decide the matter instead of locking him out.

On the day of the incident the landlord was alleged to have locked Sunday’s room and he could not enter his apartment. When Sunday wanted to know why his door was locked, the landlord reportedly told him he was no longer his tenant.
