Fashola, Ribadu Visit Family Of Late Pa Abraham Adesanya’s Widow
Lagos State Governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola (SAN) in company of the Presidential candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu on Saturday paid a condolence visit to the Apapa family house of the late Afenifere leader, Chief Abraham Adesanya, whose widow, Mrs Roseline Arinola Adesanya also passed on.
Both Governor Fashola (SAN) and Mallam Ribadu who were received by the son of the deceased, Mr Bayo Adesanya expressed their condolences to the members of the family and also signed the condolence register opened in honour of the deceased.
In an interview with newsmen later, Governor Fashola said though it was very sad that Mama Adesanya has transited, one should be happy that she has gone to be at peace with her maker and with her lifelong partner.
“I believe God will make an everlasting re-union for Mama with her life partner, Pa Abraham Adesanya as I condole with the family on this loss and physical separation.
“We are thankful to God that Mama lived a very useful life and one that was in service to her people and we pray that God gives her peaceful and eternal rest,†the governor added.
