Coalition of Artisans for Continuity Initiative has adopted Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon, GOS, for another term in the Senate to represent the Lagos West Senatorial District.
The coalition made its stand known when members paid a solidarity visit to the senator in Lagos. The coalition said its stand was borne out of Senator Solomon’s effective and effecient representation in the Senate in the last four years.
President of the Coalition, Akinboade Ibrahim Bolatito, who spoke on behalf of members said no reasonable and progress-loving coach would want to change a performing player on the field of play, stressing that Senator Solomon has shown no sign of fatigue to warrant being sent back to the bench.
According to him: “Lagos West cannot afford to replace a known first class performer with an unknown mediocre from any other party. What we have seen of GOS performance has convinced us that the district is in for more robust representation in the next four years.”
He urged the people of Lagos West Senatorial District to vote enmasse for the ACN and assured them that their votes would not be a waste.
In his remarks at the occasion, Senator Solomon thanked them for their support and commendation.
“I commend your appreciation of my modest contribution to the growth of the country and my community,†he said.
He appealed to them to vote overwhelmingly for all ACN candidates in Lagos without hesitation. He assured them that the party would not disappoint them.
