Jonathan Posters Take Over Buildings In Sokoto

A head of April presidential election, President Goodluck Jonathan posters have taken over public buildings and roundabouts in Sokoto metropolis.

The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) reports that posters of Jonathan/ Sambo were seen on display in almost all roundabouts, public buildings and trees in major highways in the state capital.

Alhaji Ibrahim Lado of Arkilla quarters told NAN that the display of the posters was a clear indication that the people of Sokoto would vote for him in next month’s presidential election.

“One good thing about us is that if we don’t like any candidate, his posters will not be in public buildings and places,” he said.

Ladu said that come April “ I will vote for President Jonathan to ensure continuity for peace, progress and political stability of our nation nascent democracy,” he said.

He added that the availability of petroleum products and increase in the salary of civil servants was an indication that good things were expected to come.

Hajiya Hanatu Isa of Emir Yahaya wants President Jonathan to do more in ensuring the safety of Nigerians.

Isa would want the Federal Government to evolve security measures to bring to an end religious and political crisis in the country.

She expressed optimism that women would massively vote for President Jonathan in the April polls.
