PFN Endorses Fashola

The Lagos Mainland Province of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Ebute-Metta chapter, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria has thrown its weight behind the candidature of Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola and Mr. Seun Williams, Labour Party’s candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Lagos Mainland 1, Constituency.

The PFN, through Reverend Israel Willie and Pastor Innocent Nwanevu, the Chairman and Secretary respectively, said the decision was based on the past records of both candidates, their integrity and the manifestos of the two candidates.

“The election of credible and God’s chosen leaders into highly influential offices as the governor and lawmaker in the state House of Assembly would be successfully facilitated if the Christian community will take up the challenge to investigate past records, character qualification and the manifestoes of the various candidates.

“PFN, Ebute-Metta chapter, after a through appraisal of the various candidates has therefore adopted Brother Seun Williams for the Lagos State House of Assembly under Labour Party and Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola the governor of Lagos State as the aspirants to be collectively voted for.

“We therefore implore all Christian leaders, overseers and ministers to please inform and mobilize every registered voter under their oversight and influence to come all out on election day and vote for Brother Seun Williams and Governor Babatunde Fashola for effective communication and maximum response and representation.”

The group advised the aspirants to serve the people they represent and not to disappoint God, while it promised to support them in prayers.
