It was a triple delight as Funke Bucknor Obruthe, the CEO of Zapphaire Events, makes a cameo appearance on Tinsel for a few episodes.
Funke is featured as herself, a top wedding planner in Nigeria. She meets with, and plans, the wedding of Fred and Sheila! Tinsel, a hit soap on MNET showing weekdays, with repeats and omnibus on Sundays saw Funke exhibiting her creative acumen.
This just signals the first of many television appearances for Funke, as work has started on her own event and lifestyle television show.
