Enyimba’s campaign have been boosted by the early return to action of right-back Tswanya Samuel who suffered an injury during the game with Warri Wolves.
In quite bizarre circumstances during the Week 12 clash which ended goalless, the defender sustained the knock after coming on to replace Valentine Nwaebili, who himself was pulled out for an injury to the groin.
However, the 22 year old’s recovery has been swift and he has since resumed training with team mates and could be in action when Lobi Stars visit today.
Ferdinand Ajere, the club’s physiotherapist told EnyimbaFC.net the former Niger Tornadoes man is fully fit and can start playing again.
“Its good that he’s back to full fitness. He’s had some rehabilitative training and I can say that he can return to action now. He was unfortunate to pick up the injury that he had, but he’s a young man and he’s healed quickly,” Ajere said.
When EnyimbaFC.net caught up with the defender, he expressed delight to be back within such a relatively short time, saying all he wants to do is get back into the team.
