Over 30,000 members of the Cattle Dealers Association operating at the Lagos State Animal Market, Abattoir, Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, have promised to cast their votes for Governor Babatunde Fashola at the April governorship election.

The General Secretary of the association, Kabiru Abubakar, said the cattle dealers decided to support Fashola’s re-election because he had supported the cause of the Hausa community since he became governor.

Abubakar spoke at the handing over of rural electrification project to cattle dealers at the abattoir by the state government on Tuesday, saying,  “This has never happened before.

“The cattle dealers who were at the Tafawa Balewa Square during Fashola’s rally some days ago and  the over 30,000 taxable adults operating at the Lagos State Animal Market are 100 percent in support of Fashola’s re-election.
