African women champions, Nigeria’s Super Falcons, have opened a training camp in Abuja ahead of a 2012 Olympics qualifying match against Namibia, which is fixed for early next month.

Namibia beat Angola over two legs in the preliminary round to qualify for this match-up.

Nigeria host the first leg on 2 April with the return leg away in Windhoek two weeks later.

A fortnight later, the Falcons will again step out for a 2011 All Africa Games qualifier against the winners between Ghana and Benin Republic.

The Nigerian women are the All Africa Games defending champions.

The second leg will take place away in mid-May, when the Falcons are expected to head for Europe to commence their World Cup build-up.
