Hope Summit, an inter-denominational forum on Wednesday donated gifts, food items, medicines and cash worth  thousands of naira to widows, widowers, orphans and single parents in Lagos.

“This is the only way of walking the talk, as far as service to God and humanity is concerned, since the Bible admonishes us to be the doer of the word,” Amire said.

According to her, the humanitarian service is carried out by the summit through giving scholarship/financial assistance to children of the poor, provision of food items and medication, provision of cash to petty traders and other welfare packages  to the needy in our society.
