‘I Have No Deal With Any Oba’

The traditional ruler of Shoba town in the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State, Chief Jimoh Raheem Agbebeji has denied signing any document ceding Shoba town to Oba Lateef Olayinka Ado, the Alado of Ado.

“I have never at any time written or supported any person or group of persons to write any document(s) purporting that our land, which was owned from time immemorial by the Odan Parapo family, has been ceded to Oba Lateef Olayinka,” he said.

He, however, revealed that he is aware that some family members had at a time had ignorantly an agreement with the Oba, but today they have realised their mistake and  reneged on that agreement, stressing that such documents should not be seen as valid.
