The former Governor of Kogi and a governorship candidate of ANPP, Prince Abubakar Audu, said in Lokoja on Thursday that he would not probe the present administration in the state, if he secured power.

Audu said this at the commencement of presidential campaign in the North Central District of Kogi.

“I will not probe the present administration because our people want to move away from poverty and face the reality on ground and ensure that we move forward,” he said.

He said that he was not on a revenge mission and would leave the past behind and focus on the development of the state

“I am not on a revenge mission because all those who worked against me in 2007 are now working to ensure that I emerged as the next governor of the state,” he said

He further said that all those who were sacked during the last state screening would be reinstated.

“We will do this in order to reduce poverty in the state. If people are not empowered there will not be progress.”
