Man Accused Of Sodomy Knows Fate March 16

An Abuja Magistrate’s Court has adjourned a case of sodomy  preferred against a construction worker, Joseph Okon, 35, to March 16.

Okon, a resident of Zuba Village was alleged to have summoned his apprentice, one Musa Ezekiel, to a construction site where he ordered him to remove his trousers and thereafter, assaulted him sexually.

The court heard that the incident happened on March 2.

Okon, a resident of Zuba Village at Gwagwalada in the FCT, was said to have held Ezekiel’s penis and rubbed it until Ezekiel ejaculated.

The Prosecuting Police Officer, Mr. Simon Emmanuel, told the court that Ezekiel had been having severe discomfort in his penis since the incident.

He described the offence as a case of indecent assault that was contrary to Section 284 of the Penal Code.

Senior Magistrate Abdullahi Illelah after adjourning the case, ordered Okon to be remanded in prison custody.

Okon had pleaded not guilty to the one-count charge.
