Poet Drums Support For Fashola

A foremost poet and businessman, Sesan Adewusi popularly known as Tantolorun Baba Oloyin Original, has assured Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, on his success in April governorship election.

The assurance is contained in an album dedicated to the governorâ€s campaign, copies of which have been sent to him by courier.

In the work dubbed Asiri Oyin (secret of honey), Yinusa Ayeniromo, a local radio personality who acts as baale, said he intends to contest governorship of Oyo, Ogun of Lagos states while Baba Oloyin tells him to forget Lagos State because the state is a no-go area as Fashola is the peopleâ€s choice.

Making reference to the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjoâ€s recent statement, Adewusi said even the people of Oyo State would want Fashola to come and govern the state if just for only one month, noting that Obasanjo may be referring to Fashola in his statement that it would have been good if it is in the constitution that any governor that peforms very well in his state be allowed to govern other states.

He also restated the recent declaration of the governor of Niger State, Aliyu Babangida, that PDP cannot win Lagos State.
