Group Supports Fashola For Second Term
A socio-political group, Face of Lagos, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, has expressed its support for the second term bid of Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, and called on all Lagosians to cast their votes for the governor and all Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) candidates in the April general elections.
Alhaji Akeem Sanni, the publicity secretary of the group made the call while speaking with P.M.News, at the weekend on the position taken by the group in the coming election.
Sanni stated that in as much as the governor has performed creditably during his first term in the office, the only way to reciprocate such a gesture is to vote for him massively in coming election so that he could complete the projects he had started.
The publicity secretary said that as a group which aims to give any performing government in the state its backing, and as a member of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), which also contributed massively during the last election in the state, it is encouraged by the development brought to the state by the governor.
