President and founder of the Pentecostal Sanctuary Bible Ministries, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria, Prophet Sunday ‘Dare Iyunade, has prophesied that Ogun State will witness a change in government in the next general election.

Addressing journalists to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the ministry at the church heaquarters in Ijebu-Ode, the clergyman stated said God revealed to him happenings in the state before, during and after the elections.

“The ruling party in the state will decline in strength and in its place, a root will spring and will become stronger; it will take over and will overide the present political setting. I said this some months back. It has now come to past in the state. All of you are living witnesses to it. I remember that in 2007, I prophesised that Governor Daniel should not run for 2nd term as I see doom at the end of his tenure. Haven’t you seen the doom? Let’s just wait and see, but no matter what he and his cronies planned, something that is certain as revealed to me by God is that there will be a change in power in this state and this is not from me but from God,” he stated.

Iyunade also frowned at the reception given to the former vice chairman of PDP in the Southwest, Chief Olabode George when he was released from prison. “For the way the ruling party celebrated the return of one of their leaders, God saw their cup as being full and running over. For this, God said He will further punish them for that act.

He called on the people of Ijebu to repent from idolatory, particularly, the practice of bringing curse to the gate of the land, stressing that prayers should be offered for the land so that the remaining industries in the town will not fold up.
