Chairman of Omo Ilu Foundation, a factional caucus in the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Ogun State, Prince Mushafau Kashamu, has appealed to the people of the state to forgive Governor Gbenga Daniel for his wrongs in the past eight years.

Speaking at a reception to mark the birthday of the running mate of General Tunji Olurin, Comrade Tunde Oladunjoye in Ijebu-Igbo, the business mogul pleaded with the people not to compound the problems of the state governor.

“I want to plead with the people of Ogun State to forgive Otunba Gbenga Daniel. Some people are saying that OGD has sinned against God and humanity, whatever it is, I want you to forgive him. Everybody should forgive this man. Let him finish his tenure and leave. God will judge him accordingly,” he stated.

Prince Kashamu warned PDP members in the state not to leave any stone unturned in the coming elections.
