Cash Cripples Super Eagles

Nigeria’s training camp ahead of an important 2012 Nations Cup qualifier against Ethiopia has been put off till the weekend, officials told MTNFootball.com.

The Eagles training camp would have opened on Monday, 14 March in Abuja with the country’s ‘B’ team, but was shifted till the weekend because the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, is short of cash.

“The NFF is broke and as such the training camp will now begin by this weekend,” a top official disclosed to MTNFootball.
