2000 Civil Servants Attend Tutorials For Promotion Exams
As promotion fever grips civil servants working with the Lagos State Government, over 2,000 of them have flocked to the tutorial classes organised by the Lagos State Branch of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria.
The promotion examination is slated for Saturday. The tutorials were held at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium at the state government secretariat.
Comrade Deji Sulaiman, Tutorial Committee Chairman said some of the topics taught the civil servants include New Contributory Pension Scheme; Public Service Rule and Financial Regulations.
He was of the view that the tutorials would help the civil servants scale the hurdle posed by promotion examination, adding that the tutorials started some years ago and had been very helpful to the civil servants.
According to him, the tutorials were part of the promise of executive members of the association to partner with government towards improved productivity, adding that “we shall continue to contribute our quota to the development of members of staff in Lagos State Public Service.â€
