Freight Forwarders Commend Customs Boss

The efforts of Alhaji Dikko Inde Abdullahi since he assumed the position of the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NSC) in 2009 have not gone un-noticed by stakeholders.

Similarly, the actions of newly-appointed Customs Area Controller (CAC), Apapa Area 1 Command, Lagos, Comptroller Suleiman Idris.

Notably, freight forwarders under the aegis of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) have commended Abdullahi for what, according to them, is his welfarist approach in administering the NCS.

The freight forwarders’ position was articulated in a press statement by the NAGAFF Deputy National President, Seaports, Prince Obums Anene.

The leading freight forwarder was quick to puncture the position of the school of thought that Abdullahi is not doing anything special by the various programmes that he has enthroned to boost staff welfare since he became the Customs helmsman.
