Group Begins Campaign

As the April general election draws nearer, a campaign group, Babatunde Fashola For Governor Again, BAFOGA, has commenced a house-to-house campaign to mobilize votes for Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN.

Speaking with Political Platform during the exercise at Alimosho Local Government, the secretary of the group, Dare Babatunde, said the exercise was necessary because every vote is worth canvassing for, adding that complacency could be dangerous.

He expressed confidence that the victory of the governor and other ACN candidates in the forthcoming election is certain.

He emphasised the need for a thorough job that would make the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, lose in their strongholds without garnering up to five per cent of the total votes.

“The rally at the Tafawa Balewa Square, TBS, recently, to which we mobilized 72 lorry loads of people is a clear testimony that Fashola would sell more than hot cake on the day of election,” he enthused.
