Prince Olusi Turbaned Baba Adinni

The H. A. B. Fashinro Hall inside the recently rehabilitated City Hall, Lagos Island, southwest Nigeria, was aglow recently when Islamic scholars of the Zumuratul Islamiyah Society of Nigeria in Lagos State and beyond trooped out to confer another Islamic chieftaincy title on the National President of Zumuratul Islamiyah Society of Nigeria, Alhaji (Prince) Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi as Baba Adinmi of Zumuratul Society of Nigeria.

The hall was filled to capacity with prominent Islamic scholars, government officials and well-wishers who came from far and near to felicitate with the recipient over the honour bestowed on him.

Speakers at the event, one after the other, poured encomiums on the recipient, saying he deserves the honour for his deep passion for community development in education and social emancipation of the people of Lagos Island and beyond from the shackles of illiteracy, and moving Islam to greater heights.

Dignitaries that graced the occasion include Alhaji Abdullateef Adegbite, Alhaji Abdulateef Odunsi, Sheikh Garuba Atunola Ibrahim, Sheikh Abdulateef Abou, Alhaji Musbaudeen Adekunle Sukarat, Alhaji Fatoyinbo, Alhaji Ismaila Kadiku, Alhaja Elias, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu and Hon. Yakub Balogun among others.

The occasion was anchored by Alhaji Abdulwaheed Tella.
