The former first lady of Lagos State and the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, senatorial candidate for Lagos Central, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu and House of Representatives candidate for Surulere Constituency 02, Hon. Aliu Babatunde Kazeem, have promised the people quality representation if elected as lawmakers in the forthcoming general elections.

Mrs. Tinubu made the pledge when she flagged off of her campaign at the Aguda praying ground in Coker\Aguda Local Council Development Area recently.

Speaking at the event, she said the overwhelming turnout of the people in the council area is an attestation that the good people of Lagos crave for good representation at the national level, adding that she would regularly visit her constituency if elected at the poll as well as engage in more philanthropic contribution to the area.

“I have a passion for children, women and the youths. If you lift one woman out of poverty, you have lifted an entire family. If elected, I will work hard to initiate and support legislation that would improve the quality of education, strengthen health care delivery and empower the underprivileged,” she stated.
