The presidential candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, will spend two hours speaking with the young people of Kano on Sunday.
The programme, tagged Youth Ngage, will be the second in its series, after the very successful showing in Kaduna last Friday.
It is being organised by Team Ribadu, the volunteer arm of the presidential bid. In a press release, Team Ribadu’s Director of Communication, Adeshola Komolafe, said the success of the Kaduna event made the group to organise another one.
“The young people of Kano demanded for an interaction with Mallam Ribadu and we had to oblige their request. They wanted a chance to interact with this young man they love so much and we (Team Ribadu) had to find the resources to put it together.â€
She said the honest and straight forward answers the ACN candidate gave to all the questions asked him at the previous event was appreciated by the youth.
“We, the youth, see him as our ambassador, friend and colleague. He obliges us every time we reach out to him, despite his very busy schedule. No other presidential candidate has spoken to the youth on burning issues like Mallam Ribadu has. No wonder the youth are giving all they have to support his aspiration.â€
The event will take place at the Mambbya House, Kano.
