The Aboki Lawani Family of Ishawo has warned the village head and Baale of Ishawo town in Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria, Chief Olalekan Orisan and Hon. Kabiru Aboki Bada, respectively to stop misleading Nigerians over a vast area of land belonging to the family.

The family in a statement signed by Chief Kareem Enifeni, General Secretary, dismissed the rumours being peddled by the two community leaders that a prominent estate developer in Isheri Oshun was planning to sell their family land illegally.

The family insisted that Hon. Kabiru Aboki Bada and Baale of Ishawo, Chief Olalekan Orisan do not have any say over the family land and as such have no right to condemn the choice of estate agent for the family as they were not at any point in time given such authority.

The family confirmed that Lagos-based estate consultant, Chief Teslim Adeola Almaroof is the accredited and authorised agent of the Aboki Lawani Family.

Recently, six persons, including the village head, Olalekan and Kabiru were dragged before the Lagos High Court, Ikorodu division by the Aboki Lawani Family over a landed property worth millions of naira.

Others named as defendants in the suit are three commnity leaders in the area, Hon. Kabiru Afolabi Bada, Samuel Olujimi Owojuigbe Orisan, Alhaji Ambe Dagunodo and Madam Ebudola.
