Somolu/Bariga’ll Deliver Largest Number Of Votes, Says ACN Chief
A chieftain of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Senator Tony Adefuye, has said that the greatest number of votes for the party in Lagos State will come from Somolu and Bariga councils of the state.
Adefuye said that the overwhelming preponderance of the areas’ populace are members of ACN, adding that the scenario is not surprising, considering the fact that people of the area rank among the most politically sophisticated people in Nigeria, who have seen the good work Fashola is doing in the state.
“I salute the patriotism of our compatriots in Somolu/Bariga. I salute their sense of loyalty. I salute their zeal for the progressive cause of the ACN based on the fantastic work the party is doing in Lagos State,†he said.
The elder statesman, who is one of the founding fathers of ACN, advised the electorate in Lagos State to reject the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), saying the party has nothing practically to offer except to loot the state’s coffers.
He expressed further that Chief Bode George, who the party had looked up to as a pillar will soon turn out to be their major undoing on account of his gravely soiled reputation.
