As part of its contribution to the development of local initiatives and productions in Nigeria, M-Net, a leading pay television content provider on the African continent is throwing its doors open to aspiring actors and actresses in the country to audition for roles in the popular multi-camera soap opera, Tinsel.
Scheduled to hold simultaneously both in Lagos and Abuja, the auditions will take place on 25 and 26 March from 8am to 5pm.
Showbiz Trends learnt that the open audition seeks to provide opportunities for talented Nigerians to live their dreams of starring in the popular soap opera and launch their acting careers before a continental audience.
According to a statement from the organisers, interested wannabes are required to come along with their five-by-seven (5 X 7) colour portrait photograph to the open audition holding at SS Lcounge, Victoria Island, Freedom Park, Lagos Island and Protea Leadway, Maryland, all in Lagos and Protea Hotel, Asokoro in Abuja.
Since its debut in 2008, Tinsel, a 30-minute series, has won the heart of many viewers both in the country and on the continent. It is shot on location in Nigeria.
