Lagos State Governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola (SAN) on Saturday paid glowing tributes to the memory of departed industrialist, Otunba Mohammed Aliu Jobi-Fele describing his death as a great loss to the world of entrepreneurship.
Otunba Jobi-Fele, a renowned industrialist and philanthropist passed away on Thursday night.
In a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mr Hakeem Bello, Governor Fashola described the departed former Chairman of Oodua Investment Company Limited as a thoroughbred businessman who placed premium on honour, integrity and moral values.
According to the governor, Otunba Jobi-Fele’s place would be assured when the history of those ho served their nation with remarkable zeal, devotion and commitment comes to be written, adding that the period of his exemplary stewardship as Chairman of Oodua Investment Company would remain an enduring testimony to good corporate governance.
Noting that the nation would sorely miss the indefatigable elder statesman especially in the fields of commerce and philanthropy, Governor Fashola prayed that Allah admits the soul of the departed into Al-Janah Firdaus.
Governor Fashola also prayed that God would grant the family of the deceased, his close associates, the government and people of Ondo State the fortitude to bear the loss.
