Lagos Musicians Support Governor Fashola, ACN
Members of Lagos State chapter of Association of Juju Musicians of Nigeria (AJUMN), have joined other musical organisations that support the re-election ambition of the state governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola.
Last weekend, a musical campaign was held by the musicians to canvass votes for Governor Fashola and other Action Congress candidates in Apapa Local Government Area of the state.
Similar concert had also been held at Somolu Local Government by the juju musicians.
Speaking at one of the occasions, Governor of Lagos AJUMN, Prince Oluwajoba Ojatunwase, the leader of Apple Spinners Band, said the gesture of the musicians was necessary considering the rapid transformation of the state since 1999 as well as the tremendous achievement recorded by Governor Fashola in the last four years.
According to him, “Fashola has done more than enough, so he deserves the support of all musicians as well as other well meaning Lagosians to further move the state forward.â€
He urged every eligible voter in the state to vote en masse for Fashola and other ACN candidates during the elections.
Apple Spinners Band, Princess Folake, the Deputy Governor and the State’s Zonal Coordinator of the group, Mighty Ade, performed at the rallies, among other AJUMN members.
