NDLEA Shortlists 95 For Recruitment

The NDLEA in Osun State has shortlisled 95 applicants for employment interview out of more than 3,000 candidates who sat for its aptitude test in 2010.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the successful candidates on Monday besieged the office of the agency on the old Ikirun Road, Osogbo for the interview.

A member of the panel conducting the interview told NAN under anonymity that the exercise was for all the 95 successful candidates, narcotic superintendents, agents and narcotic assistants.

Some of the unsuccessful candidates who also beseiged the premises appealed to the federal and state governments to make creation of employment opportunities their priority in the next dispensation.

They said it was the only way to reduce youth restiveness and criminal activities in the country.
