Abike Dabiri Bags Titles
Many would remember her endorsement last week by artistes and youths of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the erstwhile Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs and now Chair, Federal House of Representatives Committee on Diaspora Matters has been accorded recognition in virtually all the strata of society.
The female lawmaker, through various means has touched the lives of many both within and outside her constituency. And she has been rewarded for all her deeds. The most recent event was the conferment of the title of Aniyikaye Adeen of Igbogbo Central Mosque by the Muslim Society of Nigeria as part of the Maulud Nabiyyi celebration.
On the same day, Dabiri-Erewa was also honoured by the Catholic Women Organisation at Saint Patrick’s Parish in Ibeshe.
The double honour was a confirmation of what has made her a pride to Ikorodu and Lagos State at large.
As part of her laudable services to humanity, Abike Dabiri commissioned transformers at Pashoku, Itupate and Adaraloye while Solar Light was commissioned at Anyangburen Road, through her effort.
She was showered with encomiums while being conferred with a merit award and as Matron of the Catholic Women Organisation.
Rev. Father Jonathan Eburuche, the Parish Priest, described her as a worthy and credible Nigerian who longs for a better society for all in every of her dealings.
