ACN Supporters Shot

Two members of Action Congress of Nigeria were shot by gunmen suspected to be party thugs early this morning at Igueben in Owan West Local Government Area in Edo State.

The victims were travelling to Benin City, the state capital for a meeting. The name of one of the injured victims was given as Andrew Osigue while the second person remains unidentified. Both of them were in General Hospital Auchi where they are under intensive care.

Yesterday the State Commissioner of Police, David Omojola held an interactive meeting with the political parties and candidates for the weekend election at the Police Command Headquarters.
