Politicians Hounds Journalists In Ogun State

Journalists in Ogun state are now living in fears as some politicians in the state are hounding them.

P.M.NEWS checks today revealed that some journalists who are correspondents with various media organizations but are not in the good books of the government have been warned to be cautious during this election period to avoid being harmed.

Our correspondent who is among those that are being threatened disclosed that several text messages and threats have been received from various quarters. Some of his colleagues have equally received such text messages.

A correspondent with a daily newspaper who preferred anonymity has revealed a text message sent to his phone threatening to deal with him and some of his colleagues if a party, which was not disclosed in the text should fail to win election in the state.

Part of the text message reads ,’’In view of this,we want to inform you and your other colleagues that if our party loses, you too will lose your life’’.
