Court Orders Warring Motorcyclists To Maintain Peace

The crises rocking the two bodies controlling Okada riders and Owners has led to litigation as one of the factions, ANACOWA Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association sued the All Nigeria Auto Bike Association over who should be in control of the affairs of commercial motorcycle operators in the country.

ANACOWA, in a suit filed at the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos wants the court to determine who has the right to direct the affairs of motorcycle operators in the country. Joined in the suit are the Inspector General of Police, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, the Deputy Commissioner of Police and All Nigeria Auto Bike Association.
