CPC Unveils Candidates For Assembly Election In Ogun State

Barely twenty four hours to the National Assembly election, Congress for Progressive Party (CPC) has unveiled its candidates that will be contesting in various constituencies in Ogun State.

The candidates were presented to the party members yesterday by the the presidential running mate to Gen. Muhammed Buhari, Pastor Tunde Bakare at Ake Palace, Abeokuta, Ogun State

The candidates are Mr. Lekan Abiola, brother to the late business mogul, MKO representing Abeokuta North, Oko-Edede constituency; Hon. Taofiq Lawal, Ogun West Senatorial Destrict, Barrister Abiodun Akinboye, Ogun East District and Mr. Godwin Odeyemi, Ado-Odo Otta constituency.

Others are Hon. Musa Olatunji (House of Assembly), Green Adekunle, Ifo constituency, Joan King Fagbemi, Temitope Ismail and Musa Olatunji.

Despite the late nomination of candidates, the party is optimistic of winning in the tomorow’s election.
