Fast-rising comedian, Emmanuel Adigwe, otherwise known as D’lectura, is bereaved. His mother, Mrs. Theresa Adigwe, died on Tuesday at about 8.30 p.m.
A staunch Catholic Church member, the late Mrs. Adigwe, 67, died of stroke, an ailment she had been battling for some time now. She is survived by two sons and a daughter.
D’Lectura posted on his Facebook profile that “now, I’m facing the greatest fear of my life; losing someone so close and dear to me. But it hurts so bad that she didn’t live to fully enjoy the fruit of her labour.â€
P.M. Entertainment gathered that D’lectura travelled to his hometown in Delta State early today to deliberate with family members on his late mother’s burial arrangements.
From all indications, she will not be buried immediately because Catholics do not bury the dead during lenten period.
