Friday 25th of March 2011 is a day thousands of residents of Cross River State would remember because of the harvest of miracles and thrilling moments that took place in the Calabar Sports Stadium.

The miracles which were wrought during an all-night programme organised by Christ Embassy tagged “Calabar Miracle Crusade” saw the blind having their sight restored, those with speech impairment having their speech ability restored, many healed of haemorrhoids and the lame receiving their walking ability.

The Calabar Sports Stadium which was packed full during the all-night programme was full of excitement as the congregation worshiped, sang and danced to gospel music provided by several gospel artistes from the ministry including Buchi, Samsong and Obishine.

In his message, Pastor Marcel Obode, the State Pastor of Christ Embassy, who took his message from Acts 2 verses 26 to 36 reiterated the message by Peter to the Israelites on the import of the crucifixion, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ as the anointed of God.

“Though Jesus came from the lineage of David, God imbued Jesus with the nature of divinity to bring salvation to man,” he said.

Pastor Marcel said the power of God to save, deliver and heal reside in Jesus Christ who, though, is today at the right side of God, gave the Holy Spirit to be the constant personality with the Christian.
