Oshiomhole In Door To Door Campaign

Edo state Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiohmole took the campaign for votes in the forthcoming elections to the doorsteps of the people.

Governor Oshiomhole, who moved from door to door and street to street, canvassing for the peoples’ support, also visited a number of markets where he enjoined the traders to vote for the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN in the April polls to sustain the ongoing development in the state.

At Uwelu spare parts market, the governor promised to install street lights and repair existing borehole in the market. At the new motor spare parts market, Evbareke, the governor promised to reconstruct the road which is in a deplorable state.

The electronic dealers and technicians along Siloko Road were also told that street lights will be installed on that road which is already under-going reconstruction, to aid their business when it gets dark.

At Oregbeni market, the governor promised to build a modern market for the traders which will be located along Lucky Way, to discourage and permanently discourage street trading.

Addressing the people, Oshiomhole stated that many people are witnesses to the developmental achievement of his administration, saying “what is going to change our state is empowerment of the people”.

Recalling the campaign promises he made in 2007 to make a difference and rescue the state from mismanagement, the governor urged the people to vote based on performance, saying “this election that is coming up is about party, support the good revolution”.

Comrade Oshiomhole equally visited Igun street spare parts dealers where he addressed a large number of traders.

The governor was joined in the door-to-door campaign by the party’s Senatorial candidate for Edo South, Senator Ehigie Uzamere, House of Representatives candidates, Capt Jim Adun and Hon Razaq Bello-Osagie as well as several House of Assembly candidates.
