Yishawu Empowers Eti-Osa Youths

As part of his own constituency commitment to discover the skill in youths in Eti-Osa Local Government and environs. the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN candidate for Eti-Osa Constituency II to the Lagos State House of Assembly, Engineer Gbolahan Olusegun Yishawu has successfully sponsored a football competition in the area.

At least 16 clubs in the area participated in the Talent Discovery Soccer Competition, which was recently held at the playground of Greggs College, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The final match of the weeklong tourney was decided between Takwa-Babes Football Club and Warder-Barrack.

In the pulsating final match, watched Takwa Babes defeated Warder Barrack 6-5 on penalty shootout after one goal a piece in the regulation time.

Speaking after the event, the sponsor, Yishawu said the tourney was aimed at given youths of the area a platform to exercise their God-given talent as well as empowering them through sports.

“I am happy that the competition was successfully organized. I want to assure the people of my constituency that this kind of competition and other similar youth empowerment programmes will be organized regular,” he said.

Cash prizes and medals were given to all the winners.
