Kikelomo Akinsola Helps The Police

Police is your friend. That notwithstanding, many still keep them at arms length. To change that disposition, Kikelomo Akinsola, famed event planner has set up a non-government organisation, NGO, to inject productive life into the individual and corporate aspect of the Nigerian Police system.

Called Kike Blossom Direct Safety Initiative, the NGO has the vision of providing pleasant experiences that will integrate performance, prepare officers for career effectiveness and provide support programme for police services and activities, which will contribute to the officers’ well-being and futuristic development to enable them develop intellectually.

The initiative, registered by the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission, will also be engaged in the rehabilitation of police barracks and stations, organise seminars, workshops and conferences to develop the intellectual capacity of officers and institute Police Friendship Awards in recognition of institutions, corporate bodies and individuals who participate generously in Police Intervention Programmes.

The facilitator of the initiative, Akinsola, a business personality who holds the issue of security and individual well-being very dear, is the Managing Director of Bloom Designs Limited, an events management and venue styling outfit
