The police in Area ‘H’ Command, Ogudu, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, have arrested two robbery suspects.

The suspects identified as Olaeye Adeyeri and Femi Obateru were arrested by the anti-robbery policemen attached to Area ‘H’ Command on routine patrol at Ladi Lak area of Bariga, a suburb of Lagos.

P.M.NEWS gathered from police sources that following information from members of the public that they suspected the movement of the two men, an anti-robbery team from the command was ordered to comb the area and the exercise paid off as the duo were arrested with the bag they were carrying.

The source further revealed that the police were amazed when they found a double barrel shotgun and 11 live catridges in the bag.

The two suspects were immediately taken to the station were they made confessional statement.

After preliminary investigations, they were transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba for further interrogations.

The state police image maker, Mr. Samuel Jinadu, advised members of the public to always report suspicious movements in their areas to the police to enable the police take quick action. He promised that the two suspects will soon appear in court.
