Two Disappear After Community’s Threats
The whereabouts of the duo of Ebuzor Kemakolam and Osuji Tochukwu, both indigenes of Imo States and suspected homosexuals, has become a source of worry for their community.
It was learnt that during the recent Iriji festival, the duo were caught pants down to the consternation of family members and the community at large, an act which was viewed with seriousness by the community. Some rituals had to be performed to appease the gods of the land.
The unmarried men apparently sensing that they could be harmed by the community or too overwhelmed with shame considering the gravity of the abominable act, have disappeared.
The bewildered community which needs the culprits to help in the ppeasement rituals and the cleansing of the land had to constitute a search party to fish out the fleeing deviants. It was gathered that the search party looked everywhere and could not locate the men. The search was extended to Abuja, Port-Harcourt and Lagos where it was learnt that the duo had stopped coming to work.
People now discuss the the disappearance of the duo in low tones with some saying that they may have been assassinated by the killer squad set up by the elders of the community.
As at the time of filing in this report, the disappearance of the men was confirmed by the Imo State Police Command, which promised to carry out proper investigation into the matter.
