Lawmaker Seeks Support For ACN On Saturday

As preparations for the rescheduled National Assembly elections continue, the lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos State, Mr. Dayo Bush-Alebiosu has called on the electorate to vote massively for the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN on Saturday.

He said he was impressed with the large turnout of Lagosians in last Saturday’s botched polls and commended them for turning out enmasse.

Fielding questions from newsmen, Bush-Alebiosu said the turnout at different polling units across Kosofe Federal constituency during the botched elections was an indication of unshakable trust and confidence the teeming populace had in the party.

The lawmaker, who is also the ACN flagbearer for Kosofe Federal Constituency seat in the rescheduled elections, attributed Federal presence in the nooks and crannies of Kosofe to his effective representation of the area in the House.

Bush-Alebiosu listed several projects, including the provision of electricity transformers and solar-powered street lights, support for primary health centres, provision of educational support scheme for primary schools, water facilities, including the three multi-million naira motorised borehole projects, as a few of the life-changing programmes he facilitated to the area since 2007 when he was elected as the representative of the people of Kosofe in the lower chambers of the National Assembly.

While commending the people of Ikosi-Isheri, Agboyi –Ketu and Kosofe areas for their doggedness, resoluteness and loyalty to ACN, Bush-Alebiosu said it is only the party of progressives which the ACN represented that can deliver the needed dividends to the people.

He said voters were ready to defend their votes by ensuring that their votes counted, adding that the people of the state were ready to ensure that ACN remained the party to beat.
