Nigerians have been charged to take their destiny in their hands as agents of positive change by voting for credible, tested and transparent candidates that will meet their democratic expectations
They were also enjoined to stoutly but peacefully defend their votes against rigging or any form of malpractice that had been the bane of previous elections.
These advice was given by the chairman, Lagos State chapter of the National Transformation Party, Chris Utewhor, at the party’s rally held at the Road 322 Playground, Festac Town, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.
While presenting the candidates, Mr. Richard Minet, vying for Amuwo-Odofin Constituency 1 and Mr. Omoniyi Ojo, Amuwo-Odofin Constituency II, for the Lagos State House of Assembly, and Mrs. Olugbohum Omolade, for the House of Representatives, Utewhor assured of a better society and improved economy if his party candidates are elected.
He warned Nigerians against money politics, urging them to wait on the Lord for the much deserved new dawn at the 2011 polls with their votes for the right candidates.
