The Babatunde Raji Fashola, BRF Alliance, a campaign group within the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in Lagos State has prepared fully for the re-election bid of the state governor. Top notchers of the group spoke of their readiness for the poll.
Comrade Ajayi stated that the primary assignment of BRF Alliance is to complement the efforts of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in ensuring that the party’s candidates emerge victorious in the elections in Lagos State.
The coordinator of the group in Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Oluwasegun Olaiya, alerted Lagosians on the bias of the soldiers posted to the streets, saying they were favouring a particular political party, intimidating members of other parties.
Mrs. Peju Olokodana, the coordinator of BRF Alliance in Agege, however, commended the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, of Isokoko Police Division, Agege, Mr. Sunday Agbonika, for his efforts in ensuring that all ballot boxes in Ward â€˜Aâ€™, Isale Oja in Agege were returned intact after the announcement of the postponement of the election last Saturday.
While the state secretary of the group, Ajayi, said â€œthe vice chancellor of the university of politics in Nigeria, the Jagaban of Borgu, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a visionary leader, directed that we should maintain peace,â€ the deputy coordinator Ifako-Ijaiye Ms. Margaret Aladuke Kolawole appealed to Lagosians to discard rumours and come out enmass to vote on Saturday.
