Delta State-born singer, Gabriel Omavoran Williams a.k.a. El-Omav, who hit the music scene a few years back with the track Amala Meji, among others before he withdrew into his shell, has completed work on his new effort, Look Around.
The new single, expected to be on his forthcoming album, has been described as a masterpiece, even as its content dwells largely on the deplorable state of the nation.
And to crown it, the track has been dropped alongside its video that gulped millions of naira.
Look Around was produced by El-Omav himself and the video directed by Emma Gecko.
Also on the project are the son of the late Afrobeat music creator, Seun Anikulaopo-Kuti and lyricist, Ilesanmi, who displayed their versatility musically.
During a chat with El-Omav, the widely travelled Afro-soul singer refuted ever leaving the industry but admitted that he went underground to perfect his home work.
He promised that his album will be impactful as he intends to bring to the fore his experience while he performed in Canada and other places in his bid to take the contemporary music genre to the next level.
