Lagos Monarch Wants Govt’s Assistance
The Olojo of Ojo kingdom in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State, Oba Galib Adeniyi Rufai Ade-Ife I, has called on the state government to assist the community with a general hospital equipped with modern facilities.
The monarch thanked Governor Fashola and his deputy, Princess Sarah Sosan, for the vital role they played during his coronation, saying their administration has impacted positively on the lives of the people, who now enjoy the dividends of democracy as a result of accelerated development in the state.
“The only assistance we need from the state government now is the building of a general hospital, construction of Mile 10 link road through Ira to Abule Osun and dualisation of Iluse Mosafejo road linking Alaba International Market, which already is in bad condition, to ease traffic congestion experienced daily in the area,†he stated.
Speaking further, the traditional ruler enjoined Lagos residents to vote en masse for the state governor and all candidates of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in the elections, while assuring the governor of his support and that of his subjects at all times.
