Hon. Felix Adewale Ajayi, a chieftain of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Oshodi/Isolo Constituency 1, has told Lagosians to ignore the text messages that is been circulated by the Labour Party, LP.
Ajayi said that the party has adopted cheap blackmail and it should be ignored.
Ajayi also rubbished the content of the message that alleged that former Lagos State governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is imposing his family members on the party, saying that anyone has the right to contest and his family members should not be denied their right.
According to him, ACN is a family party and it will not discriminate against anyone. ”Everyone should be given the opportunity to enjoy their rights. People might not like it but this practice happens all over the world. We need people who can represent us as a people and bring changes to our lives,†he said.
He added that the text messages titled: “Lagos Votersâ€, that read that Governor Raji Fashola swore to an oath to Tinubu is not true.” He claimed that Fashola’s work is speaking for him and advised that Lagosians vote overwhelmingly for the incumbent governor. He also urged citizens of Oshodi/Isolo Constituency 1 to vote Moruf Akinderu Fatai who he claimed has performed well.
“I want my people to vote ACN in Oshodi/Isolo constituency 1 and vote ACN at all levels because we have presented credible candidates who want a positive change for Nigeria now and in the future,†he stated.
