Saturdayâ€
While many citizens were performing their civic rights across the state, the youths in Ajuwon-Akute turned some major roads in the area into football pitches ignoring governmentâ€
Apart from the Ajuwon bus stop, the main junction that connects Iju-Ishaga and Akute, boys in the area also blocked the roads leading to Alagbole and Ishashi to play ‘sets,â€
While the street soccer tourneys lasted, the action prevented some INEC officials and those on special duty from moving freely on the partially blocked roads.
The young boys run for cover each time they saw the security men, but they sure enjoyed their day playing football, while the nation was busy with the parliamentary elections.
