The Action Congress of Nigeria , ACN has swept the National Assembly polls in Lagos State , South West Nigeria, winning the available seats announced already by the returning officers at various collation centres.
In the Lagos Central Senatorial District , Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu won by landslide, scoring 202,506 votes to beat her closest rival, Atolagbo Animashaun of the PDP who polled 75, 982 votes and the APGA candidate who polled 9,302 votes.
In Kosofe Federal Constituency, Dayo Bush-Alebiosu of the ACN won by landslide by polling 63,070 votes to beat the PDP candidate, who scored 18,744 votes.
In Lagos Island I Federal Constituency Olajumoke Okoya-Thomas of the ACN won by landslide by polling 17,803 to beat the PDP candidate, Lukman Kotun, who scored 6, 244 votes.
In Lagos Island II Federal Constituency, Mr. Yakub Balogun of the ACN won also by landslide, polling 22,254 votes while the PDP candidate, Ganiyu Ajose polled 6,946 votes.
In Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency, Mr. Alao Owolabi of the ACN won by a landslide, polling 42,060 votes to beat the PDP candidate who polled 16,270 and SDMP candidate who polled 576 votes.
In Ikeja Federal Constituency, 51 year old, James Abiodun Faleke defeated the PDP candidate by a wide margin. The figures are still being collated.
In Eti-Osa Federal Constituency, Akinloye Babajide of the ACN won by a landslide, polling 32,473 while the PDP got16,219.
In Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency1 Moruf Akinderu won by polling a vote of 12,198 to beat the PDP which polled 973 votes.
In Lagos East Senatorial District, the ACN candidate, Gbenga Bariyu Ashafa won by a landslide by polling 222, 723 while the PDP polled 82,113.
In other areas where the results have not been announced officially, feelers we got were that the ACN also won in those places by a wide margin.
